Refund Policy
Summary
TableStage is digital content delivered immediately after purchase, and a full free trial is available to evaluate the product before buying. For this reason, once your license key has been delivered, purchases are generally not refundable - except where you have statutory rights to a remedy, in particular your statutory warranty rights if the product is defective (see below). Please use the free trial first to make sure TableStage works for your setup.
Try Before You Buy
You can download and run TableStage for free without a license key. The free trial supports up to 3 maps loaded at once and 10 maps in total, fog of war, and 1 music plus 2 ambience tracks playing at once (up to 5 audio tracks in total), so you can confirm that the software runs on your Raspberry Pi and TV and meets your needs before you spend anything. We strongly recommend using the trial before purchasing a license. See the shop for what the trial includes.
Your Statutory Right of Withdrawal
As an EU consumer purchasing digital content not supplied on a physical medium, you have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal from the date of purchase.
However, under EU law (Directive 2011/83/EU) this right of withdrawal expires once the supply of the digital content has begun, provided you have given your express prior consent to begin supply before the withdrawal period ends and acknowledged that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal. This consent is obtained during checkout. In practice, because your license key and download are delivered immediately upon purchase, the right of withdrawal is exhausted at the point of delivery.
After Delivery
Once your license key has been delivered, purchases are generally final, reflecting the nature of digital content that has already been supplied and the fact that you were able to evaluate the full product through the free trial beforehand.
This does not affect your mandatory statutory rights. In particular, if the product is defective, you retain your statutory warranty rights (Gewährleistung), which may include having the defect remedied, a price reduction, or - where the defect cannot be remedied - termination of the contract and a refund. See our Terms of Service for details on warranty and defect remedies.
Discretionary Refunds & Payment Disputes
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Creem.io, acting as the Merchant of Record. As the seller of record, Creem may issue a refund at its own discretion, and will handle chargebacks, fraudulent charges, and unauthorized payments in accordance with its own Terms of Service and applicable law, regardless of the policy stated above.
How to Request a Refund
If you believe you are entitled to a refund (for example a defect, a duplicate charge, or a payment you did not authorize), contact Creem's support using the link in your purchase confirmation email, or contact us at contact@tablestage.com and we will help.
