Terms of Service
Scope
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the website tablestage.com and the TableStage software product, operated by Primaris e.U., Kapuzinerstraße 43a, 4020 Linz, Austria (see our Imprint for full company details). By accessing or using our services, you agree to these Terms.
Product Description
TableStage is a battlemap display system for tabletop roleplaying games (such as Dungeons & Dragons and others) that turns a Raspberry Pi and a TV into a dynamic game table. It consists of software that runs on a Raspberry Pi, controlled via a web interface on your phone or tablet. TableStage is not a virtual tabletop (VTT); it is a physical display system.
System Requirements & Compatibility
TableStage requires:
- A Raspberry Pi (supported models specified on the product page)
- A TV or monitor with HDMI input
- A phone or tablet with a modern web browser for the control interface
- A local network (Wi-Fi or Ethernet) connecting the Pi and the control device
The software does not include DRM or technical protection measures beyond license verification.
Purchase & Payment
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Creem.io. Creem acts as our Merchant of Record, which means your purchase contract for billing and tax purposes is with Armitage Labs OÜ (the entity operating Creem, named in Creem's Terms of Service), not directly with Primaris e.U.. Creem handles payment processing, VAT collection, invoicing, and refunds.
By completing a purchase through Creem, you also agree to Creem's Terms of Service.
- Prices are shown in EUR. Applicable VAT or sales tax is calculated and displayed at checkout based on your location (included in the price where required, added at checkout where not).
- After successful payment, you receive a license key by email for use with the TableStage software.
Right of Withdrawal & Refunds
As an EU consumer purchasing digital content not supplied on a physical medium, you have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal from the date of purchase.
This right of withdrawal expires if you have given your express prior consent to begin the supply of digital content before the withdrawal period expires, and you have acknowledged that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal. This consent is obtained during the checkout process. Because your license key is delivered immediately upon purchase, the right of withdrawal is exhausted at the point of delivery.
A free trial is available so you can evaluate the product before purchasing. Full details on refunds are set out in our Refund Policy. Nothing in this section limits your statutory warranty rights (see Statutory Warranty below).
To exercise any right of withdrawal or request a refund, contact Creem's support via the link in your purchase confirmation email, or contact us at contact@tablestage.com.
Software License
Free Trial
TableStage offers a free trial that does not require a license key or purchase. The trial supports up to 3 maps loaded at once and 10 maps in total, fog of war, and 1 music plus 2 ambience tracks playing at once (up to 5 audio tracks in total). Premium features (unlimited uploads, weather and bloom effects, advanced color grading, Bluetooth and AirPlay audio, and backup/import-export) require a license. The trial is provided as-is. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the trial at any time without notice.
Paid License
- TableStage software is licensed, not sold. The license is granted by Primaris e.U..
- Each license is a one-time purchase for personal, non-commercial use.
- Each license is valid for one Raspberry Pi device.
- The license may not be transferred, redistributed, sublicensed, or resold without prior written consent from Primaris e.U..
What the License Includes
Your license grants you the version of TableStage available at the time of purchase, together with:
- Updates necessary to keep the software in conformity and free of defects, including security updates, as required by law (see Statutory Warranty);
- Maintenance and improvement updates we choose to release for that version at no additional charge.
Future major versions or substantial new features may be offered separately. We will not charge you for updates required to keep the product in conformity, but we reserve the right to offer significant future feature releases or major new versions as separate products.
Statutory Warranty (Gewährleistung)
Under EU law (Directive 2019/770 on digital content, implemented in Austria as the Verbrauchergewährleistungsgesetz), you have statutory warranty rights that cannot be excluded or limited by contract:
- The digital content must conform to what was agreed and meet objective quality requirements.
- If a defect appears within 2 years of supply, you are entitled to have the content brought into conformity free of charge.
- If a defect appears within the first 12 months, it is presumed to have existed at the time of supply.
- If the defect cannot be remedied, you are entitled to a proportionate price reduction or termination of the contract (including, where applicable, a refund).
- We are obligated to provide updates necessary to keep the digital content free of defects, including security updates.
These statutory rights apply in addition to any voluntary guarantees and are not affected by any other provision of these Terms.

All rights in the TableStage software, website, and related materials (including code, design, graphics, and documentation) are owned by Primaris e.U. and protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws.

Termination
We may terminate or suspend access to our services if you violate these Terms. You may stop using our services at any time. If you have purchased a license, the license to use the software survives termination of these Terms, provided you remain in compliance with the license terms.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Austria, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG).
If you are a consumer habitually resident in the EU, you also benefit from any mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence. Nothing in these Terms affects your rights as a consumer to rely on such mandatory provisions of local law.

EU consumers may also bring proceedings in their country of habitual residence in accordance with the Brussels I Regulation. For all other disputes, the exclusive jurisdiction is Linz, Austria.
Alternative Dispute Resolution
We are not obligated and not willing to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board. The competent alternative dispute resolution body for internet-related disputes is the Internet Ombudsstelle: www.ombudsstelle.at.
